Lake Monsters Clip Saints in Tight Contest
|
The St. Paul Saints went down to defeat to Neil Coffin and his Okanagan teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Lake Monsters. Okanagan, now 5-2, has played well in the early going.
Tetsuro Fossum aided the Okanagan cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
In postgame comments to the Okanagan Times, Coffin said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
