Bush Wackers Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Stroudsburg
|
Benefiting from Nelson Marcial's productive game, the Brisbane Bush Wackers downed the Stroudsburg Shade, 6-3. Marcial went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Bush Wackers. Brisbane reliever Bobby Savoy got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Alberto García was tagged with the loss. Danny Posada earned his 2nd save in 2 tries.
Insung Yaung drove in one run for Brisbane. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Marco Molina. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"We'll savor this win," Yaung told the Brisbane Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
The Bush Wackers are off to a nightmare start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 2nd win in 6 games.
