Frosties Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Bush Wackers

Barrow right-hander Ryuya Kondo made an effective start against the Brisbane Bush Wackers at The Blizzard Bowl, leading his team to a 5-4 win. The winner was Barrow reliever Devon Labonte, now 1-0. The loser was Aaron Lyons. Barrow goes to 5-1 with the win.
Dave Turner was the walk-off hero for Barrow. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Frosties right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Kondo told the Barrow Chronicle.
