Frosties Jolt Bush Wackers with Late Rally

Brisbane got a terrific performance from pitcher Dario Reyes, but it wasn't enough to beat the Barrow Frosties. Barrow won the The Blizzard Bowl contest, 3-2. Reyes was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Reliever Troy Hannah picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Jim Vroom took the loss. Barrow goes to 4-1 with the win.
The Frosties got a clutch hit from Dave Turner with no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. Turner jumped on a 2-2 cutter from Dario Reyes and hit a single, staking his club to a 2-1 lead.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Barrow manager George Alexander Lewis.
