Warriors Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus Boise
|
The Winfield Warriors stopped the Boise Bloodhounds, 8-4, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. The Warriors got a big game from David Morales, who was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Emilio Peres, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-0. Jim Unknown closed the door for Winfield, picking up his 1st save of the year.
