Bloodhounds Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
|
Carlos Carranza led Boise to a win over Nichols. The final score was 10-7. Carranza scored 2 times, while going 3 for 4. The second baseman also totaled 2 RBI. The Bloodhounds, now 1-2, have not found much traction so far in 2033.
Carranza had a game-changing single in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-2 forkball from Ruben Abreu, he banged a 2-run single to right-center, giving the Bloodhounds a 7-5 lead. It was the 5th hit of the year for Carranza.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Carranza, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
