Loss Extends Frisco Losing Streak
|
The Jacksonville Hellcats and Frisco Rams obliged those fans who came to Hellcats Park looking for a good time.
Graig Lightheart left his imprint on the 7-6 Jacksonville win against the Frisco Rams. Lightheart, who leads the ACL in stolen bases with 65, was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Len Adkins got the win, improving to 1-5. He held the Rams to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 3. Tadakatsu Murayama got the save, his 11th in 14 chances.
Kichisaburo Miyake aided the Jacksonville cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the catcher was 2-4 with a double.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Miyake.
