Despite a great performance by Wichita third baseman Armando Galdos, the Carson City Mustang defeated the Wolverines by the score of 7-6 at Cowboys Stadium. Galdos was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. Kaong Foong picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 5 earned runs on 12 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 17-8. The Mustang, at 80-81, sit in third place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.

Vahe Kordonskaya, who is tied for 10th in the FFL in hits with 156, aided the Carson City cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Kordonskaya told the Carson City Today.
