Jacksonville beat Frisco on the strength of starter John Tracy's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Jacksonville reliever Jon Givens was credited with the win, to go to 6-10. Alberto Rafael took the loss for Frisco. Tadakatsu Murayama converted his 10th save in 13 tries.
Eduardo Rosário's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning was a big one for Jacksonville. Coming to bat with no one out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Jacksonville trailing 3-2, the pinch hitter reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.
"It was a good effort all around," said Rosário.
Frisco's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
