Jail Birds Drop Another One
|
The Atlantic City Enforcers topped the Newark Jail Birds, 3-1, in Cory Lidle League action at Parliament Field. The player of the game was Atlantic City pitcher and Queens, New York native Lynn Clark. Clark got the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 2 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Clark allowed no earned runs. Charlie Bennett, credited with the save, is now 1 for 6 in save opportunities.
Carlos Espinosa aided the Atlantic City cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 2 with a double.
