Hackers Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Hackers faced a stiff challenge from Frisco pitcher Gabriel Núñez, but persevered to claim a win at Outlander Park. The final score was 3-2. Núñez went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Silicon Valley.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Amari Cameron. For the game, Cameron went 1-1 with a double. In the top of the 12th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Silicon Valley a 3-2 lead.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Cameron.
