Shibata Goes on Rampage Against Hackers
|
It seemed Frisco Rams second baseman Kunihiro Shibata could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right.
The Rams fell against the Silicon Valley Hackers by the score of 5-3. Shibata did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Silicon Valley prevailed at Outlander Park.
"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Shibata said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."
Kunihiro Shibata singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 12th.
On the year Shibata has hit .309 with 4 home runs, 68 RBIs and scored 89 runs.
