Lowery Helps Black Bears Run Win Streak to 3
|
The Fraser Valley Black Bears bested the Spokane Bulldogs by a score of 15-4, with designated hitter Jeff Lowery getting the main credit. On the day, Lowery hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Black Bears. Fraser Valley has now won 3 in a row.
Lowery had a key at-bat for Fraser Valley early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Fraser Valley an early 3-0 lead.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Lowery told reporters after the game.
