Wichita starter Luis Hernández pitched effectively against the Cincinnati Snaps at Howling Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Juan Salinas picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Bryan Blashill was tagged with the loss. Wichita goes to 92-64. The win puts them 6˝ games up in their division.

Wichita took a 4-2 lead on Francisco Enriquez's 18th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Cincinnati pitcher Bryan Blashill in the bottom of the 12th.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Enriquez.
