A nice crowd turned out to see the Rock River Rats and DeKalb Cornhuskers clash at The Corn Crib.

The Rock River Rats picked up a win at The Corn Crib, knocking off the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 7-3. On the mound for Rock River was left-hander Lúcio Barrón, who played a pivotal role in the win. Rock River reliever Steve Cherry picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. David Gilmour absorbed the loss.

Chris Reddy made it 5-3 in favor of Rock River when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Rats went on to win.

Reddy called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

Rock River leads the Bob Moose League Bruce Bochy Division by 4½ games.
