Topeka played host to Wichita at the friendly confines of The Field at Richmond.

The Topeka Predators relied on the hitting of catcher Aaron Mitchem to stop the Wichita Wolverines, 7-4. For the game, Mitchem went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. At 77-79, the Predators are currently 4th in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.

Mitchem had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Predators went on to win.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Mitchem told the Topeka Times.
