Ducks Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Fraser Valley
The Long Island Ducks topped the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 6-4, in Bob Moose League action at The Stetson Bowl. The player of the game was Long Island pitcher and Mt. Isa, Australia native Maurice Oakley. Pedro Herrera got the save, his 4th in 4 chances. The Ducks saw their win-loss record go to 66-88. At the same time, the Black Bears fell to 84-71.

Jorge Guerrero aided the Long Island cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 2-3 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Oakley told the Long Island Daily News.
