The Carson City Mustang got a superb performance from center fielder Emory Drewry. Still, it wasn't enough to beat San Antonio. The Storm Troopers won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Drewry was named the player of the game. He was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. At 85-69, San Antonio is in second place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.
Allan Morris helped out the San Antonio cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drew 2 walks.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Morris.
