Spokane left fielder Bill St.john had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Wichita Wolverines, 9-3. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 75-71 with this latest triumph.

Rey Valle helped out the Spokane cause in the bottom of the second inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
