The Carson City Mustang got a stellar performance from pitcher Graeme Priday, who handcuffed the DeKalb offense en route to a 3-1 win at Cowboys Stadium. Priday, now 10-7, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. The Mustang bumped their record to 72-72 with this latest triumph.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from shortstop José González. For the game, González was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Carson City a 2-0 lead.
