Pacifica played host to Topeka at the friendly confines of McCormick Field.

Taylor Bastien left his imprint on the 10-0 Pacifica win against the Topeka Predators. Bastien, who is tied for 2nd in the ACL in extra base hits with 73, was 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Bobby Savoy earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed no earned runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts. Aaron Lyons converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when designated hitter Hiroshi Kono reached on an error by the SS. The Shamrocks went on to win.

Kono said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
