The Marysville Monarchs defeated the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 5-3, in Cory Lidle League action at Mitts Fieldhouse, with Marysville pitcher Bill Almy named player of the game. Jaiden Harris converted his 1st save in 1 tries. The Monarchs improve their record to 66-77 with the win over San Antonio.

The Monarchs got a big at-bat from second baseman Alex Diaz. For the game, Diaz was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Marysville a 2-1 lead.
