Fuentes Helps Storm Troopers Run Win Streak to 3
A nice crowd turned out to see the San Antonio Storm Troopers and Marysville Monarchs clash at Mitts Fieldhouse.

Storm Troopers second baseman Orlando Fuentes put his stamp on his team's 10-6 win over the Marysville Monarchs. Fuentes was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for San Antonio in the contest. Steve Becker was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 20 save opportunities.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Chong-hyeon Lee was at the plate when San Antonio scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Storm Troopers to go in front, 7-6.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Lee said.

San Antonio has now won 3 in a row.
