Pérez Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Silicon Valley in Walk-Off Win

The Silicon Valley Hackers racked up a win at San Jose Municipal Stadium, bumping off the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 5-4. Ken Stein, who started for Silicon Valley, pitched effectively for his team. The Hackers bumped their record to 80-62 with this latest triumph.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from second baseman Sergio Pérez. For the game, Pérez was 1-1. In the bottom of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 26th hit of the season gave Silicon Valley a 5-4 lead.
"Big win," said Pérez.
