Pak has 4 hit night, Stogies Move to 35-13
|
Havana third baseman Chong-yeol Pak played a vital role in his team's 7-5 triumph over South Carolina. He was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for Havana. Abdul Razzaq Kharoti earned his 21st save in 21 tries. Havana has run its win streak to 6 in a row.
Pak had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 slider from Shi-xian Le, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Stogies a 7-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Pak.
