|
Larry Alberg was instrumental in his team's 8-3 triumph over the Newark Jail Birds. The designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the DeKalb Cornhuskers. DeKalb has now won 6 in a row.
Alberg had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Cornhuskers went on to win.
