Cornhuskers shortstop Ramón Morales put his stamp on his team's 7-4 win over the Atlantic City Enforcers. Morales went 2-3 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for DeKalb in the contest. Steve Henderson got the win, improving to 2-3. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 0. Luis Domínguez notched his 5th save in 6 chances.
The Cornhuskers got a big at-bat from first baseman José Marrero. For the game, Marrero was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave DeKalb a 4-1 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Marrero.
