Red Bulls Turn Back Enforcers, 4-2
|
Riverside right fielder Li-xue Liu was instrumental in his team's 4-2 win over the Atlantic City Enforcers. Liu went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Red Bulls. Daryl Billyard earned his 3rd save in 3 chances. Riverside has now won 4 straight, while the Enforcers have lost 4 in a row.
The Red Bulls got a big at-bat from second baseman Mário Arnada. For the game, Arnada went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Riverside a 3-1 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Arnada told the Riverside Times.
