Rhinos Need Extras to Top Prowlers
|
The Rubber City Rhinos downed the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 6-4, at Memorial Circle Park. Billy Joel led the way, going 4-for-6 for Rubber City. John Cosman earned his 1st save in 1 tries. The Rhinos bumped their record to 30-19 with this latest triumph.
Joel had a game-changing single in the top of the 12th. On a 1-1 slider from Robbie Hogan, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Rhinos a 6-4 lead. It was the 33rd hit of the year for Joel.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Joel said after the game.
