Black Bears Jolt Storm Troopers with Late Rally
Fraser Valley starter Bruce Patterson had a strong outing against the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Stetson Bowl. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The Black Bears bumped their record to 76-62 with this latest triumph.

John Hardwick swatted a solo home run for Fraser Valley in the bottom of the ninth. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 1.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Fraser Valley manager Casey Ramey. "It's usually not just one thing."
