Pinnock Helps Shamrocks Run Win Streak to 6
|
John Pinnock made an impact in the 6-3 Pacifica win over Youngstown. Pinnock, who is tied for 5th in the ACL in bases on balls with 88, went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Danny Posada notched his 4th save in 6 chances. The Shamrocks, at 93-43, have a comfortable 22½-game lead in their division.
One important at-bat for Pacifica came with no one out in the top of the ninth inning. With a runner on 1st, Pinnock hit a 2-run home run, which contributed to the Shamrocks win.
"This team is real focused right now," said Pacifica manager Joe Leftwich.
