It was a fun time at The Field at Richmond, where the Spokane Bulldogs and Topeka Predators tangled.
The Topeka Predators had no problem beating the Spokane Bulldogs, 15-3, at The Field at Richmond. Mal McClinton led the way. He went 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for Topeka. Angel Chavez picked up the win, improving his season record to 10-10. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. Tomas Fuentes earned his 4th save in 6 chances.
Hoo-gwo Qing, who is tied for 10th in the FFL with a .315 batting average, chipped in for Topeka with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said McClinton.
The Predators move to 67-70 with the win, while the Bulldogs drop to 70-65.
