Rhinos Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Rubber City Rhinos defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 8-5, at Sick's Stadium. Rubber City catcher Pete Bell was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3 for 3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Andres Fajardo earned the win to go to 2-0. He allowed 4 earned runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. The Rhinos, now 5-1, have hit the ground running this season.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Bell hit a bases-clearing double. It propelled the Rhinos into the lead, 5-2.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Rubber City skipper Larry Johnson.
