The Frisco Rams got a stellar effort from pitcher Javier Martínez, helping Frisco score a 3-2 win over the visiting DeKalb Cornhuskers. Callum Butler, credited with the save, is now 15 for 17 in save opportunities. The Rams bumped their record to 75-57 with this latest triumph.

John Bloom drove in one run for Frisco. The 21-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off David Stafford. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Martínez told reporters after the game.
