The Portland Beavers topped the Mile High Mustangs, 6-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at McNichols Stadium. The player of the game was Portland pitcher and Skegness, England native Thomas Kearton. Portland reliever Thomas Kearton got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Doyle Sullivan was tagged with the loss. Portland has now won 3 in a row.

The Beavers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Anuvaha Tasha. For the game, Tasha went 2 for 6 with 2 singles. In the top of the 12th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 44th hit of the season gave Portland a 5-4 lead.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Kearton told the Portland Gazette.
