The Sandy Springs Spartans powered past the Newark Jail Birds, 8-6, at The Coliseum. Pancho Figueroa went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Newark has now lost 4 in a row.
