Molina goes 3-for-5 as Beetlecats Squeeze Past Fraser Valley
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats bested the Fraser Valley Black Bears by a score of 7-6, with right fielder Raúl Molina getting the main credit. On the day, Molina was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Beetlecats. The Beetlecats bumped their record to 68-61 with this latest triumph.

Had Juan Cruz not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Cruz hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Beetlecats.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Cruz, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
