The San Antonio Storm Troopers beat the Cincinnati Snaps, 4-2, at The Clone Army. San Antonio catcher Peter Southern earned player of the game honors. He collected 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 70-57 with this latest triumph.

Southern had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from Alex Alvarez, he banged a bases-clearing double to right-center, giving the Storm Troopers a 3-2 lead. It was the 18th double of the year for Southern.

In comments to the San Antonio Observer, Southern admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
