DeKalb third baseman Dinh-Hy Mai had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Long Island Ducks, 12-8. DeKalb reliever Nate Chapman picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jackson Knickle absorbed the loss. Luis Domínguez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 2 save opportunities.

Bill Carr aided the DeKalb cause with a bases-clearing triple in the top of the second. For the game, the shortstop was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
