The Spokane Bulldogs defeated the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 11-8. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Randy Griffin, who was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Spokane reliever Norihisa Sakai picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. Ignacio Ramírez absorbed the loss. Tokuhei Yano, credited with the save, is now 16 for 21 in save opportunities.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Javier Guillén. For the game, Guillén was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Spokane a 9-8 lead.
