The South Carolina Bombers topped the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-2, with right fielder Shawn Harris playing a big role. Harris hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Bombers in the win. The Bombers bumped their record to 23-20 with this latest triumph.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Harris, who is tied for 7th in the TML in runs scored with 29, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Bombers into the lead, 3-1.

"We played hard and won," said Harris. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
