Monarchs Get Close Win Over Enforcers
|
Won-keun Park was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Atlantic City Enforcers. The first baseman went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Marysville Monarchs. Walker Baldwin picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Charlie Bennett was tagged with the loss. Marysville has a 3-game win streak, while Atlantic City has lost 5 in a row.
The Monarchs got a big at-bat from second baseman John Lacenaire. For the game, Lacenaire was 1-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Marysville a 5-4 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Park told the Marysville Herald.
