The Carson City Mustang beat the Topeka Predators, 12-7, at The Field at Richmond. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Lee Cong, who captured player of the game honors. Carson City left fielder Mo-ruo Nan contributed to the cause with a triple in the top of the third. For the game, Nan was 3-5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 runs.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Nan told the Carson City Today.
