Rams Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Hawks
Frisco got a strong outing from Badarisaila Suravinda as the Rams defeated the Boise Hawks, 3-1, at Basque Block Field. Frisco reliever Mark Edwards was credited with the win, to go to 2-5. Hiroo Okimura took the loss for Boise. The Rams bumped their record to 69-53 with this latest triumph.

The Rams got a big at-bat from catcher Augusto Reyes. For the game, Reyes was 1-2 with 2 walks. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 101st hit of the season gave Frisco a 2-1 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Reyes. "And not try to do too much."
