Fraser Valley and Rock River duked it out at The Stetson Bowl and the Black Bears came out victorious.

The Fraser Valley Black Bears topped the Rock River Rats, 6-3, in Bob Moose League action at The Stetson Bowl. The player of the game was Fraser Valley pitcher and Alajuelita, Costa Rica native Oscar Saucedo. Saucedo, now 4-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 3 earned runs. Shu-de Tian earned his 28th save in 35 chances.

The Black Bears got a big at-bat from left fielder Dan Groover. For the game, Groover went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Fraser Valley a 2-0 lead.
