|
The Bulldogs grabbed a win, 3-2, at The Rat Hole, overcoming a fine effort from Rock River pitcher Lúcio Barrón. Barrón went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The 4th-place Bulldogs improved to 62-53.
Matt Tullos, who is tied for 10th in the FFL with a .929 OPS, aided the Spokane cause with a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1, while adding 2 RBI.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Tullos. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
