McDade Delivers Walk-Off Win for Cornhuskers
Cornhuskers shortstop Bill Carr put his stamp on his team's 6-5 win over the Fraser Valley Black Bears. Carr went 2-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times for DeKalb in the contest. DeKalb reliever Luis Domínguez picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Shu-de Tian was collared with the loss. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 58-58 with this latest triumph.

Matt McDade had the critical at-bat for DeKalb. With two out in the bottom of the ninth inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave DeKalb the 6-5 walk-off win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," McDade said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
