Late Rally by Predators Secures Win
The Predators faced a stiff challenge from Cincinnati pitcher Alex Alvarez, but persevered to claim a win at The Studio. The final score was 7-4. Alvarez went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The win was credited to Tomas Fuentes in relief. His record improves to 10-6. David Williams took the loss. Andrés Hernández notched his 4th save in 4 chances.

The Predators got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Hiroshi Kajiwara. For the game, Kajiwara went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Topeka a 6-2 lead.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Kajiwara said.

The Predators bumped their record to 61-56 with this latest triumph.
