The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats defeated the Marysville Monarchs, 7-3, in Cory Lidle League action at Mitts Fieldhouse, with Buzzard's Bay second baseman Pablo Herrera named player of the game. Ji-hwan Yea earned his 26th save in 28 chances. The Beetlecats bumped their record to 61-55 with this latest triumph.

Herrera had a big at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring triple. The Beetlecats went on to win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Herrera said.
