Bennett Stops Sandy Springs Cold
|
Sandy Springs dropped a 4-0 shutout to Tom Bennett and the Spokane Bulldogs at The Coliseum today. The Spartans offered little resistance to Bennett, who stopped them on 5 hits, fanned 6 and walked 1.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Bennett told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
This year Bennett has a 8-7 record with a 5.30 ERA in 21 starts.
